Do you have a passion for interviewing musicians and celebrities?

We are an established lifestyle/news magazine looking to expand our online presence. We are looking for arts and entertainment bloggers to write short, quirky Q&As with musicians, comedians or other prominent people who are coming to Toronto. Most of these posts can be done from home, with the interviews done over the phone or email (preferably phone), but we are a local publication and are looking for bloggers who reside in Toronto and know it well.

The ideal candidate understands the basics of journalism (timeliness, accuracy, etc) and is willing to pitch and post at least one-two Q&As per week. These Q&As would be short, around five questions each, and would need to come with a short introduction. The posts would go online before the subject came to the city.

Compensation is $30 per post to start, but as we grow, the online budget will expand, so loyal bloggers will start to see some rewards. Bloggers who are particularly apt may find opportunities to write for our print publication, which pays more. This is also a good opportunity for portfolio expansion and for good interviewing experience.
