Freelance job, short editing, payment: $100/ £60 for 3,000 words

This is a very short editing job, it should not take more than 1-3 hours.

I will send you the text I need reviewed in a Word document.

The text is less than 3000 words (approx. 7-8 pages) written by a proficient, but not fluent, English speaker.

The text treats a general topic (for a web site), so you don’t need any previous knowledge.

What you need to do:

• Proofread and make corrections (spelling, grammar) so that it is proper English. The text has already been reviewed by others.
• Make the text style and tone “neutral”. This would involve re-writing 3-5 phrases per page.

Qualifications:

• Native English speaker (Required)
• College degree, preferably in a field related to writing, or
• Experience of writing and/or editing.

Pay:

• US$100 / £60
