Freelance writing, BlockAvenue.com, pays $10-$20 per post (New York)

We are looking to hire 2-3 journalism students to interview and write profiles of interesting New Yorkers for our Talking Blocks segment on our blog. Here are examples of recent posts:

You will find people (we can help in this process), interview them by email/phone, write the blog entry and then post on a WordPress blog.

You must be/have:

- An excellent writer
- Great communication skills
- Very familiar with WordPress
- Know NYC well
- Comfortable with all forms of social media
- Responsible and have high integrity

Almost all work will be done remotely but we will require you to interview and meet us 1x per week at our office in Soho.

Pay: $10-20 per post, depending upon experience
