Freelance writing, established online men's magazine, pays $20 per feature

An established online men's magazine is seeking a men's style blogger to feature twice a month, with the possibility for more.

We focus on affordable and attainable style, versus how most magazines present aspirational style. Instead of publishing pictures of a $3,000 suit and leaving it up to the reader to apply the principles to his budget, we simply say: "Here's a $300 suit that looks great, go buy it."

Our target audience is men in their mid-20's, usually in the later years of college or the few years after graduation. It's a frugal time in a guy's life, and he needs your help teaching him the basics of style and recommending affordable options.

The writer should:

* Understand the basics of style, and ways to make and pair affordable options to look great
* Be a fan of brands like Gap, Lands End Canvas, J.Crew, Banana Republic, Old Navy, and Indochino
* Understand the difference between men's style and men's fashion, and focus on what real, everyday guys should wear and not what's on fashion runways
* Be able to write about men's style intelligently while also entertaining
* Make affordable recommendations for classic staples and current trends
* Be able to contribute at least twice a month and meet deadlines

Feature articles are 800-1200 words. There may be an opportunity to also contribute shorter articles in the future.

Please tell us a little about yourself and include samples of your men's style writing

Compensation: $20 per feature, usually 800-1200 words
