Freelance writing, news/ info/ entertainment website (Lawson Publishing), pays $10 per article/ news

A start-up company, Lawson Media and Publishing, seeks qualified candidates for positions in its editorial department. These positions are paid freelance, paid internship, unpaid internship and telecommute. All work is done virtually from a home office. We are looking for contributors for one of our websites focused on news, information and entertainment. Preferred candidates will have at least some college newspaper or broadcast experience. We need content in the following categories:

• News (Local, State, Nation, World, Politics, Education, etc.)
• Sports (Basketball, Football, Hockey, Baseball, Other sports [like extreme sports, tennis, bowling, etc.], pro, high school, college, etc.)
• Science/Tech. (Science news & research, the environment, new and old technology, reviews, how-it-works, etc.)
• Business (Investments, Market research and reports/studies, industry profiles, etc.)
• Entertainment (music, tv/film, games, literature, art, live performance, etc.)
Payment arrangement options (must have Paypal):
• $10/submission, at least 3 submissions per week
• $1200 stipend for 3 months, plus internship credit (paid upon completion of term)
• Internship credit, minimum 3 months, flexible
