Freelance job, biography writer, payment: $0.07 per word (USA)

We are seeking several part-time and full-time writers to join a large existing team. We are headquartered in Northern California, but our writers work remotely all around the US, so you won't be required to commute!

JOB DETAILS:

- You will write several articles per week. The typical format of an article is a 250-350 word biography about a specific person
- Source data will be provided, so you will not be required to research each person/topic
- We will provide detailed style guidelines
- You will be paid 7 cents per word for completed and approved articles. Pay day is every 2 weeks.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Experience writing professionally is preferred, but we will also consider college students
- Native English speaker based in the United States
- Available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week (you will be paid per word, not per hour, but this is the estimated workload)
- SEO knowledge is helpful, but not required
