Freelance job, novel editing, payment: $300-$400 for 82,000 words (Atlanta metro)

We are in search of a developmental/line editor for our first author's first novel. We don't need a proofreader. We don't need a copy editor (yet). What we need is an experienced, referenced professional (or a really knowledgeable and motivated literary student) who is familiar with the structure of fantasy/action-adventure/urban novels, and can help tone down a "stream of consciousness style" enough that the people NOT inside the writer's head can understand it, too. LOCAL TALENT ONLY, please.

The project is 82,000 words, and will be ready for you to begin work early July. Compensation is $300-$400 (we still have day jobs, and not very good ones). If this sounds like work you'd be interested in adding to your resume, please reply by email.
