Freelance writing, celebrity photo agency, pays $13 per gossip blog post (New York)

We're a well-respected celebrity photo agency covering the biggest stars in the country. We're looking for a freelance blogger to write short (approx. 175 words), punchy stories for our celebrity blog. We specifically need someone who can work 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. from June 8 - 14th, while one of our other bloggers is on vacation. You also need to be available on either the 6th or 7th for training (via phone and web conference).

There is an extremely high likelihood that the position will go permanent if you do a great job. Permanent hours would be weekday afternoons 2 - 7 pm, with the possibility of additional weekend work if you're interested. You should have excellent grammar and an obsession with celebrity gossip. Little things like knowing how to use an apostrophe with a plural possessive matter to us (i.e. "The Kardashians' new store" not "The Kardashian's new store"). A background in celeb blogging is a huge plus, but what matters is that you're reliable and can write well.

Required skills:

• Proficient in Wordpress
• Basic Photoshop skills (must have it on your computer and be able to crop and batch re-size)
