Freelance writing, national legal magazine, pays $100 per column

A national legal magazine is seeking a litigation columnist for its quarterly litigation column. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned litigation attorney or paralegal with at least 8 years experience in litigation or litigation support. The columnist should possess a vast understanding of pre-trial and trial procedure, technology tools, litigation trends, trial strategy, and all phases of litigation including investigation, pleadings, discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement and appeal.

The litigation columnist should be an excellent writer with a solid command of grammar and a familiarity with the paralegal industry. He or she also will be able to meet tight deadlines and create engaging content that is informative and reader-friendly. He or she should be open to ideas and willing to revise and edit when necessary. Previously published candidates are preferred.
