Freelance writing, new Gloucester County monthly publication, pays $50 per article

New monthly publication seeks a writer to submit approximately three articles a month, each 300-600 words. Articles will feature various historical sites, activities, organizations, museums, parks, etc. in Gloucester County. Writer will submit five to ten topics each month, from which editor will choose no more than three. Writer must be able to complete articles within a short time frame, never more than two weeks. Photos of the locations featured in the article may also be accepted.

To begin, $50 per article accepted by editor. Full credit will be given to writer. Publication will be distributed throughout the county. Additional compensation may be offered for any accompanying pictures used in the article.

Writer can be high school or college student or any freelance writer with either knowledge of the Gloucester County area or ability to gain such. Please respond with an introduction and short writing sample.
