Freelance writing, North Kingstown Standard Times Newspaper, pays $40 per article (RI)

The North Kingstown Standard Times Newspaper is looking for one or two quality freelance reporters interested in covering local news in North Kingstown and Exeter, RI.

This is an actual, real-life, paying gig. Serious applicants only please.

The work involved will largely revolve around covering local town meetings, writing feature stories on local personalities and/or covering breaking news. Reliable transportation is a must.

This is a great opportunity for freelancers looking to pick up some work/put together some strong clips and/or make new connections in the newspaper world.

As an aside, the vast majority of our freelancers have found full time work in our industry based on the strength of the clips gathered from our newspaper, either with our company directly or with other local newspapers.
