Katherine Press is a web and e-book publisher specializing in "chick lit" and related genres. We publish novellas, novels, and memoirs, and in September will begin a monthly web and e-reader review featuring short stories, personal essays, and poetry. We seek to provide our readers with high quality literature at attractive prices. We seek to provide our readers with a diverse set of viewpoints and stories that run the gamut from funny to sad, from frothy to insightful, from familiar to weird.

Guidelines:
Katherine Press is currently soliciting short stories and personal essays for publication in our upcoming online review at KatherinePress.com. We are looking for stories with all kinds of different tones, whether funny, touching, sad, or strange. We always pay for accepted content, regardless of whether it will be sold through an online retailer or given away for free on our website. Our review will be geared mainly towards fans of "chick lit" and related literature, but we are open to any piece of quality writing that might appeal to our readers.
We publish the following types of writing and always welcome submissions:
- Online Review: Short fiction and personal essays (800-5,000 words) to be published on our website.
- Review Subscription: The same short fiction and personal essays will be available in e-reader subscription form for a low rate. The e-reader subscription will include poetry. We welcome all styles and types of poetry.
- E-book short: Short fiction and personal essays (5,000 - 30,000 words) to be sold on our website and through several different online and brick-and-mortar outlets
- Novels/Novellas: Longer fiction to be sold through our website and several different online and brick-and-mortar outlets.
