Freelance job, editing for print/ online men's magazine, payment: $0.02 per word (Boise)

A print and online men's magazine is looking for a Sr. Editor in Boise, ID. The Sr. Editor/Boise will be responsible for designing a publication content schedule months in advance, locating and retaining the writers needed to write said content, and editing the content before publication. You will have counterparts in Washington and Oregon, but you will be responsible for dozens of pieces (large and small) of content per month. It helps if you yourself can write specific pieces if you are unable to locate a writer to do the job for you.

You will also be responsible for managing your team of writers, with the hope of retaining each resource month after month. Qualified candidates should be very organizes, have command of the English language, have previous editorial experience, be willing to build and manage a small army of writers - making them feel valuable to the organization, and not just another freelance job. Compensation: $.02 per word under your editorial control. Opportunity to run entire editorial
