Freelance writing, men's fashion blog, pays $0.10 per word

We are a start-up fashion company out of S. Watsonville with a new line of men's cross-over men's shirts. Think Surf City meets Oaktown appealing to dot.commers. We are looking for a single writer to create a new fictional blog to drive traffic to our website and Facebook page that will be monetized in apparel sales. The blog will be about the fictional life of a modern concierge (or lifestyle manager) who runs a weekend party house on a large ranch south of Watsonville that is rented out to geeks from companies like Zygna and Twitter who want to be "real" for 48 hours.

Think about expanding (fictionalizing) the role of Sean Parker (Justin Timberlake) in Social Network only make it Santa Cruz style. Criteria for selection: (1) live in Santa Cruz County and are familiar with lifestyle (2) know techie geek-speak. (3) have samples of fiction short stories that you can submit.

The pay will be $.10 per word with limit of 1,000 words a month + $.50 per click (like) on the Facebook page. Division of copyrights are negotiable.

Compensation: $.10 a word plus $.50 a like
