Cheatsheetsonline is a new website that publishes summaries of novels and other content.
We’re currently looking for English majors to write summaries of the novels they are currently reading or have already read.
Summaries will include the following:
• Major and minor characters with sentence descriptions
• Summary of the plot of the novel (about 200-500 words)
• The most important quotes in the novel, with explanations of context and why the quotes are important
• Summaries of several different critics’ take on the novel, either actual critics or critical methodologies such as new criticism, new historicism, marxism, feminism, structuralism, post-structuralism, queer theory, eco-criticism, and postcolonialism, as well as other important critics and theories as appropriate.
Candidate must be a proficient, engaging writer familiar with critical methodologies. Perfect for undergraduate or graduate student English majors. Write as many summaries as you like; as long as they are acceptable, you may continue to write them. Summary topics must be approved before work can begin.
Pay is $50 per summary to start.
