Freelance writing, CrimeVoice.com, pays $25-$50 per story (Solano/ Alameda)

United Reporting -- Crime Beat News is an online news service that produces local and statewide crime news.



We're looking for two reporters - one for the Solano area (Vacaville and Fairfield), and one for Alameda County. Each reporter would fulfill two roles: 1) Stop at local law enforcement agencies to pick up media arrest reports, and transmit them to us by noon via fax or e-mail. 2) Contribute multi-media and/or print stories for our crime news website www.crimevoice.com.



We pay $25 per agency stop, and $25-$50 per story.



This job opportunity is for those interested in making extra money for part-time work, and for developing journalism/multimedia skills.



Necessary skills:



• Journalism experience / degree



• 21 and over



• Clear criminal history and background check



• Current valid driver's license



• Position requires morning until noon availability



• Provide proof of vehicle insurance



• Computer / Internet / Fax savvy



• Complete CA State W-9 form



• Must be reliable, professional and have the willingness to succeed.



Compensation: $300 - $400 per month
