SHCY Call for Submissions for the Best Article Prize
The Society for the History of Children and Youth (SHCY) is pleased to call for nominations for the best article in English on the history of children, childhood, or youth (broadly construed) published in calendar year 2009 or 2010 in a print or on-line journal.
The award of a plaque and a check for $250US will be presented at the SHCY Biennial Conference June 23-25, 2011, at Columbia University and Teachers College. Nominations are invited from journals, writers (self-nominations), and scholars.
All are eligible for the award, except for current members of the award committee and the executive committee and officers of the SHCY. Nominations must be postmarked by Feb. 15, 2011.
Please send a copy of the article to be nominated to all members of the award committee at the mailing (or emailing) addresses listed below.
