Freelance writing, NY - telecommute, topic: personal finance, pays $15-$150 per article

Personal finance blog seeks freelance bloggers. Content will be attributed to writer when possible, and writers will be paid on a per story basis. Compensation per story will be pre-negotiated commensurate with anticipated article depth, but ranges from $15 for a very simple piece requiring no research to $150+ for something that requires extensive proprietary research. A hard working freelance journalist stands to earn a very competitive hourly compensation.

Please send writing samples along with resume. Interviews will be held throughout the next week at our offices on 34th Street near Park Avenue, but writers can work remotely most of the time.

Job Qualifications

- Any writer can apply, but preference will be heavily weighted towards those with great writing samples and experience with personal finance issues.
- Intelligence, quantitative analytical skills, and ability to develop original conclusions from a disparate data set are a must for in depth research pieces.
- Extraordinary attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

* Compensation: $15 to $150+ per article, depending on depth of research required
* Telecommuting is ok.
