What is Swagger?

Welcome to Swagger. The best way to think about us is that we’re the Maxim Magazine of Los Angeles. We are a lifestyle and entertainment online magazine for men ages 22-35. We’re focused on three things, all central to Los Angeles: Hotties (aka Troublemakers), Hot Spots and Happenings. We do the heavy lifting for our readers so they get the cool stuff delivered to them on this top-shelf website. Check out our site at www.swagger.la.

Writers Needed

Swagger is looking for writers to produce high quality content for the website. You’re free to write about anything that might be interesting to men ages 18-35, including but not limited to gadgets, women, sports, clubs, bars, cars, fashion, humor, movies, etc. We are looking for short articles of 500-1000 words of highly entertaining content

We will pay $5 per article published in the magazine. You will get an author's photo and bio with every article you publish. Based on our experience, each article takes about 30 minutes. If you publish more than 10 articles, your will earn a spot on our Writers page and $10 per article. If you’re really good, you’ll get your own column and we'll work out a more permanent arrangement.

To apply, please send writing samples, a cover letter, and your resume. Once hired, you can start writing as soon as you like, as much as you like.
