Freelance writing, Metromix.com, pays $100 per article (Phoenix)

Metromix, a national network of local entertainment Web sites targeting 21- to 34-year-olds with information on where to go and what to do, is hiring a Phoenix-based freelancer. We’re looking for someone to contribute 3-4 articles for the Metromix Phoenix summer guide, an annual guide to beating the heat in Phoenix. Our ideal candidate is an experienced freelance writer and/or photographer who has:

*Extensive knowledge of Phoenix's dining, bar/club, and cultural scene
*Strong local clips that demonstrate experience covering restaurants, bars and entertainment
*A demonstrated ability to write for a young, savvy, and hip demographic
*Creative ideas about how to cover Phoenix's summer happenings for Metromix
*A solid understanding of AP style
