We are a web design / development company looking for content writers for a (growing) number of websites.
Does anyone know any aspiring or established blog writers that may be interested in picking up an extra paid gig or two?
The agreement would loosely be thus:
- Every month said writer is to provide an entry either weekly or bi-weekly on an established topic
- Topics will be discussed in advance (ie. at the beginning of the month there would be a call / or email correspondence with site owner discussing the topics for the next month)
- Articles are to be between 200 and 400 words
- Articles must be formatted for optimal marketing impact (guidelines will be provided). This includes things like adding a photo or video, key wording, writing a meta-description, etc.
- You will be compensated on a monthly basis, with possible bonuses for exemplary results.
- This is a great opportunity for students or recent graduates looking to expand their portfolio while making a few bucks.
- Also a great opportunity for people who already blog / write but are looking for a larger audience.
- Readership stats will be tracked. If over time we can prove a demonstrable link between an increase in traffic and your articles we will be able to increase compensation.
If you are interested in writing and good at it, you could find an increasing amount of work as many of our clients *need* to blog but not many *want* to blog.

1. Guest Writing for Creative Web Design Blog (Us!)
Topical Areas include areas of interest or self-help for potential clients for example:
- Tips for non-techs (ie. How do I clear my cache on different browsers?)
- Advice for non-techs trying to maintain their own website (ie. resizing pictures for web, wordpress tips, etc.)
- SEO tips for non-techs trying to improve their website visibility (ie. best practices for uploading images, how to tag images for search engines, etc) - sounds complicated but its actually easy!
Note: If you are a writer but feel intimidated by the subject matter - We can give you the subject matter and even your main points. We already know how to do all this stuff but need someone who can take the time to make it into an article.
2. Articles about SPACE!
- Topical Areas Include: Commercial Space Flights, News on planetary research, news on current space exploration and research, etc.
Because of the nature of this type of job, it doesn't matter where you are located as long as you have internet access and if you aren't in Canada you can be paid via paypal or the like!
