Freelance Writing, Grove Notes, pays $50 per story (Cottage Grove, Wisconsin)

Grove Notes, an e-news publication covering Cottage Grove, Wisconsin government and community news, is seeking a freelance writer with a strong journalism background and experience covering government and community news.

Preferred candidates will have a solid understading of AP style, familiarity with the Cottage Grove community and ability to attend evening government meetings. This job pays on a per story basis with no reimbursement for fuel or materials. Interested candidates, please send a cover letter, resume and three writing samples for consideration.

Payment is $50 per story.
