Freelance writing, heartwarming news/ hero/ celebrity do-gooder blog, payment: $25 per blog post

A social media start-up focusing on heartwarming news, heroes, celebrity do-gooders, and focusing on making our members laugh, smile, and feel inspired is looking for a small team of talented writers for our blog.

We are looking for blog posts from 150 - 1000 words in the following categories: Heartwarming or GOOD news, Celebrity do-gooders, local or national heroes or people that are making a positive difference, Media (movie television, or book reviews of positive and heartwarming entertainment), and pop psychology articles about the importance of happiness, praise, and gratitude.

We are also in need of someone to write press releases, web copy, and product copy. For this, experience in public relations, SEO preferred. Our goal is to form a small team of creative, positive, motivated people with backgrounds in writing, communications, public relations, social media, or marketing.

There is room for advancement, as we grow, for this to become a permanent gig or full-time position.

Essential skills: strong research skills, strong writing skills, good communication skills, and ability to work on deadline. Experience with Wordpress preferred.

This is a work from home/ remote job. We pay per blog post, depending on published length. $25 for a 500 word post.
