Freelance writers experienced in international affairs needed for The Washington Diplomat, a monthly newspaper geared toward the diplomatic community. Ability to understand wide array of global issues, interview ambassadors, and meet deadlines required. Most freelancers receive one to two assignments per month, with story length varying from 1,200 to 1,800 words, and pay range of $175 to $300 per story.
