Freelance writing, weekly arts and culture magazine, pays $40 per artist's profile/ exhibit review (Rhode Island)

Seeking generalist who can profile artists and review exhibits for weekly arts and culture magazine beginning fall 2011. Writing and interviewing skills and commitment to accuracy are more important than your knowledge of art history but you should be comfortable in a museum and confident in your ability to interpret and describe a work of art. If you can handle two 500-900 word paid assignments a month and understand the importance of meeting deadlines, we'd love to hear from you.
