Freelance writing, Down Shift Magazine, pays $0.05-$0.10 per word

Down Shift Magazine, (est. 2003) is a Tampa based quarterly automotive lifestyle publication that caters to the performance automotive enthusiast and the related business communities. Down Shift is actively seeking to expand our online presence and bring on-board several freelance writers/bloggers to cover anything from F1 races to new music, local events, industry and community news, product reviews and more. The ideal candidates would have some commercial writing experience in either traditional print-media publications or blogs.

Students at the University of South Florida or University of Tampa are encouraged to apply with the added benefit of internship credit-hour availability in addition to the standard pay-rate.

Compensation: blog articles - $.01 /word, printed articles DOE $.05 - $.10 /word

Telecommuting is ok.
