Freelance translation, Japanese to English (auto-related document/ Workforce Language Services), pays $0.08 per word

Workforce Language Services is a woman-owned translation, transcription and corporate language training provider located in the Logan Square/Avondale area.

We are seeking a Japanese>English translator to translate some factory logs, quote sheets and emails (auto-related). Most files are in Excel and in high volume (most assignments will consist of 3,000 - 4,000 words). Assignments are ongoing - every 2-3 weeks

Pay is $0.08 per word. Payments are made via check NET30 from receipt of invoice.

Translator can work remotely.

Our ideal candidate:

• is a native level English speaker, and a high level Japanese speaker
• has strong writing skills
• has proofreading / editing experience
• has a background in translation
• is highly computer savvy (full Microsoft Suite and beyond)
