Freelance writing, Hatford Business Journal, pays $100-$250 per writing assignment

The Hartford Business Journal is updating its file of freelance writers. We run a lean core staff and rely on our corps of freelance writers to do a lot of work, both for our core weekly paper and for our various special sections. Our assignments range from the simple business profile (pay range usually $100-$150) to serious multi-source reporting assignments (pay range usually $200-$250).

To be considered, please send your resume and up to four published writing samples to editjobs@aol.com. This is contract work paid per story, not a staff position. While we prefer Connecticut residents, telecommuters with specific business writing specialties are welcome to apply. Most of our freelancers average two stories a month but there is no minimum or maximum expectation.
