Freelance job, writer/ interviewer for Flash Fiction Challenge, payment: $75 plus reimbursements (Chicago)

Chicago based writer / interviewer needed to cover participants in the Flash Fiction Challenge 2011 on nycmidnight.com. In the Flash Fiction Challenge, writers from around the world are challenged to create stories (1,000 words max.) based on genre, location, and object assignments. Individual based in Chicago area needed to conduct brief interviews with local writers, take pictures, and provide a short, enticing story (approximately 750 words). Please send a brief paragraph on why you feel you are right for this position and provide links to any relevant writing samples.



There will be a small stipend for the story, in addition to travel and production expenses. You will receive writing credits where the story is posted with direct links back to your website. Additional details will be forwarded later.



Compensation: $75 Stipend + Expenses
