Why will I pay you? Because great content drives more traffic. I do things the old fashion way — I work hard to bring my readers value, wherever it comes from. Blogging takes time. Great blogging takes a great deal of time. If you can help me drive quality traffic and add value to my site, then you should benefit. It’s just the right thing to do. To qualify, the post must meet my editorial guidelines for both content and style. I will not post sloppy or poorly written content. Blog posts must address the following minimum requirements:
- Be about small business issues — corporate finance, fundraising, and growth strategies are best. Send me just the idea if you are unsure.
- Teach people specific ways to “Make, Measure and Monitor” the money in their business
- Have 3 to 7 links to other relevant sources inside or outside of my blog. This is for SEO purposes — not to promote your other sites.
- Have a brief “Out-ro” about you or your work. You may include 2 links in this outro paragraph, which will follow the post.
- Be unique, original work with full rights to publish online (non-exclusive is fine)
- Minimum 400 words. Maximum 1200. Somewhere in the middle is best.
- Suggest or provide at least one photo or graphic
- Be easy to read, concise, grammatically correct, and simply presented. Long paragraphs are out. Use a reading level score if you are unsure. (Reading score at 7th grade level is best.)
