Freelance job, federal agency insider writer, payment: $50 per article

So how's it going over there at the U.S. Department of Whatever? Our news site seeks insiders to write about their frustrations, accomplishments, hopes, nightmares, etc. We're not into politics so much as how the great beast clunks along from day to day. Could your department do a better job of serving taxpayers? How? Are the most skilled and talented people demoralized? Why? You get the idea. Pseudonyms OK. We hate to be so parsimonious but $50 per accepted 400-word or longer story is the best we can do at the moment. We are, however, highly experienced and pleasant to work with.
