Freelance writing, Boise City Revue (September issue), pays $0.10 per word

The Boise City Revue is doing a full history of the Boise Broncos for its September issue. The piece will need to be at least 1400 words, and cover a small amount of football history in general and a small amount of the history of BSU. The bulk of it, however, will be a complete and thorough history of the organization from the first moment it was formed at the University, through its years (key players, coaches, moments, relationship with the University etc.) until today.

It is important to remember that this will be primarily a history for non-football aficionados, so sports jargon, stats, and other specifics of the game should be kept to a minimum -- or strictly defined. We can assume that readers know the basics, but that's about it.
